Our History

The foundation for our agency was laid in 2001 when our owner and founder, Corinne Stevenson, began her career as a professional travel advisor. Driven by a vision to offer a highly personalized, end-to-end planning experience, OA Travel officially launched as an independent business in 2017. Just a few years later, in the fall of 2019, we proudly opened our brick-and-mortar storefront in beautiful downtown Lititz, PA, establishing a permanent home for our agency to better serve our incredible clients.

We absolutely love being a part of the vibrant downtown Lititz community! However, because crafting customized itineraries requires deep focus and dedicated time, our physical storefront operates strictly by appointment only.

To ensure that every client’s vacation receives our complete, undivided attention, we kindly ask that you schedule an appointment rather than dropping in. This allows us to properly prepare for our meeting and give your travel dreams the focus they deserve without interruptions.

While our daily office hours are by appointment, our commitment to our active travelers is around the clock. Once you are a booked client, you are provided with near 24/7 support for any true travel emergencies while you are away, ensuring you always have an expert advocate in your corner.

Our Planning Process

Step 1: Let's Connect & Consult It all starts when you reach out via our inquiry form. Once we review your details, we will set up a complimentary consultation (via phone or Zoom). This is where we get to know you! We will discuss your travel style, accommodation preferences, budget, and vision so we can design a trip that fits your personality perfectly.

Step 2: Custom Design & Presentation If we both agree we are a great match, the real fun begins. Leveraging our industry connections and destination expertise, we will research and craft a customized proposal tailored to your specific vacation goals.

Step 3: Refine & Secure You will review the proposed itinerary, and we can make any necessary tweaks to ensure it is exactly what you are looking for. Once it is perfect, you will give us the green light, authorize payment, and we will handle the rest. You will also receive access to a modern, user-friendly digital itinerary loaded with your travel details, tips, and recommendations.

Step 4: Pack & Experience With all the complex logistics handled, your only job is to pack your bags and make amazing memories. We will be working behind the scenes to ensure everything goes smoothly—and when you return, we will be ready to hear all about it (and start dreaming up the next one!).

If I book my trip with you, can you guarantee everything will run smoothly?

As much as we wish we could control the weather or airline schedules, the reality is that we act as matchmakers between you and trusted travel suppliers (like tour operators, cruise lines, and hotels). Sometimes the unexpected happens. However, our advantage is our strong industry relationships. We purposefully partner with reputable companies that offer robust, 24/7 on-the-ground support. While we cannot guarantee a completely flawless trip, we can promise to advocate for you and do everything in our power to resolve issues quickly and keep your vacation as seamless as possible.

Will I pay more if I book with you versus booking online?

Generally, you will pay the exact same or even less than you would booking on your own. However, our ultimate goal is value, not just the lowest price tag. Sometimes, we might suggest an option that costs slightly more than what you found online—like a strategically upgraded cruise cabin or a better-located hotel—because we know it will drastically elevate your experience. We are always focused on maximizing the value of every dollar you invest in your vacation.

Do you book airfare?

We gladly book flights when they are part of a complete, comprehensive travel package. We do not book standalone flights.

What types of travel do you NOT book?

To provide the highest level of seamless, personalized service, we focus strictly on comprehensive, end-to-end travel planning. Therefore, we do not book individual trip components. For example, if you have already secured an Airbnb or hotel on your own, we cannot assist with booking just the flights or rental cars for that journey. Additionally, we do not book regional "driving distance" getaways (such as Niagara Falls, Williamsburg, the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, or NJ/DE shore destinations).

I don't live in Pennsylvania. Can I still work with you?

Absolutely! While we love our local Lititz community, we work with clients all over the country. We regularly communicate and plan incredible trips with our out-of-state clients via phone, email, and Zoom.

Can I use credit card rewards or airline miles to book my trip with you?

For security and privacy reasons, we cannot log into your personal rewards or mileage accounts to book travel on your behalf. However, we are more than happy to offer guidance! We can advise you on how to strategically apply your points or miles to certain aspects of your vacation while we handle the rest of your comprehensive itinerary.

"We worked with Corrine Stevenson from Outfitters Adventure Travel to book a European river cruise. It was a wonderful experience working with Corrine. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful in selecting the cruise, directing us to a company called Ama Waterways. She was skillfully able to prepare pre- and post-visits to various European cities, including car, transfers, hotel reservations, and tours. Anybody who travels knows that not everything goes according to plan. That unfortunately happened to us in the form of lost luggage and issues arising with the car service company. Corrine worked diligently from the States to help us navigate these issues, even given a six-hour time change.
